WINE GIRL

This little lady is too cute!! I needed to wrap up a bottle of wine as a gift and didn't have anything "cute" to make it special for the birthday girl. As I'm dashing out the door to work I finally get the idea to use my doll stamp (Character Constructions) and see what I can come up with. I grabbed a few supplies as I dashed out the door, did a little stamping, tying & gluing on my lunch hour and this is what I came up with. Poof! Almost like Cinderella going to the ball. I think these will make great table decorations, and I'll be posting a class on my website in the next few weeks. OR gather your girlfiends with their favorite bottle(s) of vino and host an evening of fun!! E-mail me if you're interested or visit my website. http://www.julietooley.stampinup.net/

FAUX CROCODILE/ALLIGATOR

Isn't this purse cute!!? I found the instructions on the internet and just had to try it. I think I will have to make this the focus of a class or a workshop. This hold a gift card and so simple to make, I can't wait to make it in other colors. This purse is going to my co-worker Cheryl. We're clebrating her birthday today! E-mail me if you'd like to gather a group of friends together to have a class. - Julie

Simply Adorned Charms - SU! Jewelry

Better than soldered charms!!! No mess and the image inserts can be changed as often as you like. A wonderful way to personalize a gift. This is a fantastic new product from SU! for the holidays or anytime. They come in three sizes and will be available September 1 in the Holiday catalog along with chains and gift boxes. The top photo shows the charms made up and to the left is the sample board from SU!'s convention which Shelly demonstrated. The creativity never ceases to amaze me! E-mail me if you would like a copy of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I hope to schedule a class or two in September. Check my website for details.

Finally Posting!

I began this blog over a year ago and have let everything come before posting. This year I made a commitment to finally post something. I thought if I joined a swap, it would motivate me to get started. So I did. I figured I would do an easy swap - send in 3, get 3 back (easy peasy as my friend Alej says). However, I chose to be in a tag swap and this swap had a sign up deadline. Once the deadline arrived I think we all were amazed by how many people signed up. 44!!!! So, I have been diligently working on my tags and I just have a few more ribbons to tie on before I mail them out later today. We have been getting glimpses of tags sent it so far which was a great motivator for me to complete mine and get them in on time. That cute little girl is my niece Sandy - now a H.S. teacher. I cut and pasted it to a collage sheet. Here (drum roll please) is my tag!
